My Cargo bike

A buddy of mine works for a delivery company and was building up some cargo bikes for them, and I got jealous. I also had a bunch of old frames and forks lying around, and so I decided to turn my broken Redline Urbis frame into something fun.

After about 3 hours of chopping and cutting and filing, I had the thing roughly mocked up. I wanted to put the middle tube through the larger downtube but it ended up being too much of a pain with my limited tools, and it worked out for the better anyway.

Here is is after most of the welding is complete. I added a little rack in the frame off the headtube and downtube to hold a 6-pack.

Here is a closer look at just the fork. My welds are getting pretty decent on this.

This was the day after I brought it home, a friday, so my first use of it was to pick up a 6er and some cheap mass amount of beer. I am proud of the built in u-lock holder, and it is the most used part of the bike.

My brother Karl and I rode in to Central Square in cambridge for an original show at All Asia. I had two guitars up front, a piano in my bag, and a 6er of road sodas. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

After another show we played at All Asia in Cambridge. I got stuck there with two guitars as it downpoured.
